Sgt. Thomas McVicar of the Jersey City Police Department shot 22 year old Kwadir Felton, leaving him blind, after Kwadir pulled a gun on him, he claims. Kwadir Felton denied the accusation, stating that he doesn’t even carry guns.

"I don’t understand!" Felton yelled at a police officer before his mother was removed from the courtroom. "You didn’t have to shoot me in the head for no reason! You trying to charge me with something I didn’t do!"

that tree isn’t high enough stupid!

He’s so sleepy he doesn’t even care. <3

me as a bat

I’m in love with this bat

"fuck it, good enough."

oh my god

Im sorry to burst you guys’s bubble but if a bat is on the ground, acting lethargic (like seen here) He is almost surely infected with rabies
If you see a bat on the ground NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER GO NEAR IT AND NEVER NEVER EVER NEVER LET YOUR PETS EVEN SO MUCH AS SNIFF IT
BATS CAN BE VERY AGGRESSIVE WHEN RABID
YOUR ANIMALS MIGHT WANT TO EAT IT
THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS REMOVE ALL ANIMALS FROM THE SITUATION AND CALL YOUR LOCAL ANIMAL CONTROL FOR THEM TO COME GET IT
most rabid animals will not foam at the mouth and display the stereotypical behavior that people associate with rabies
Rabid bats are a huge problem in many southern states in the USA and are responsible for hundreds of pet deaths every year
If you see any wild mammal acting overly aggressive, disoriented, or showing a unexplained lack of fear towards humans, call animal control immediately
Only mammals can get rabies; birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians do not. Most cases of rabies occur in wild animals — mainly skunks, raccoons, bats, coyotes, and foxes
Sorry for the rant this is just REALLY REALLY important
Ive lost animals to Rabies like this before
Please please spread this and save pet owners a great deal of heartache

I had a dream the other night that they made a Night Vale movie and that Cecil was introduced with a very dramatic shot of him walking down the station hallway until it pans down and you see he’s wearing light-up sketchers

Anonymous asked: *whispers* will you ever finish that delightful kodd story running because i think i may need it to breath

Running is actually already done! My rp partner and I finished it a long time ago, but we never edited it down to where we were okay with putting it online. If you want I could try to scrap it together sometime in the next month, I never bothered because I didn’t think there was much of an interest in it.

Inspired by some amputee photo shoots, I decided to try my hand at some cyborg-themed pinup sketches with Kim, a sort of celebration of the female form and taking agency over one’s body.

The marvelous thing about people with prostheses is that they get to show their story on the outside, and are afforded an opportunity to take command over their own body in a unique way. Kim is an amputee who is often in a state of discomfort or worse due to her condition (sometimes being wheelchair bound), but at the same time she builds upon what she’s replaced, moving beyond simply replacing limbs and enhancing her mind and body. This would have likely never happened had she not been “disabled” in the first place; the trauma she experienced was horrible, but it opened a door to a new story in her life. She couldn’t control what she was given, but she can control what she does with it.

I like to think that the visibility and evolution of Kim’s prostheses is a way to show how her past scars don’t define or limit her, but instead only offer new opportunities for growth. She’s 60% prosthetic at this point, but she’s no less human, only more.

I want to make love to the abstract concept of brilliant aesthetic composition in these pictures.

I’m legitimately overwhelmed by the positive response these have gotten! This sort of sexy art is a bit outside my comfort zone, so it’s nice to see that it’s resonated with so many people. I think the secret to me doing pinup art is to just focus on composition and character as usual, it seems to do the trick.

holy shit

I read somewhere that sirens/mermaids sang songs that they heard from sailors on passing ships. I imagine this is what a modern siren would sound like singing this song.
